Baby Passport Photo FAQ
Every answer below follows official State Department guidance — and says plainly when software can’t decide.
Check your photo — freeRules & requirements
About the tool
- What does the checker actually measure?
- Face position and framing, head-size ratio, sharpness, exposure, tilt, and whether multiple faces are present. Everything else — eyes fully open, pacifier, hands, expression, background cleanliness, recency — goes on a short manual checklist, because pretending to auto-judge those would be dishonest.
- Does it edit my baby’s photo?
- No. It crops and lays out your original pixels. No retouching, no brightening, no background replacement — official rules require an unedited original.
- Is it free?
- The check, ranking, rating, and a watermarked 600×600 preview are free. A $6.99 session covers the final files: the full-resolution 1200×1200 JPEG, the 4×6 print layout, a 7-day secure download link, and one policy-compliant free remake.
- What if my photo is rejected?
- If a government agency rejects it for a photo problem, request the one free rework from your purchase panel, with your order code and a short rejection note. The 7-day download window does not limit support requests. Submission is pending review; approval restores download access for 7 days. We can’t promise passport approval itself.
- How do I contact support or request a refund?
- Use the rework or refund form in your purchase panel, or email jameszhang.build@gmail.com with your order code. Refund requests for damaged outputs or failed delivery are reviewed manually; submitting a form does not itself issue a refund. Please do not send baby photos or identity documents.
- Where do my photos go?
- Nowhere. Everything runs in your browser; there is no photo upload. See the privacy policy.
